Io Global uses IoStar's teleport facilities co-located with REACH (www.reach.com) at Stanley & ASIX (www.asix.hk) at Chung Hom Kok, Hong Kong & Arqiva (www.arqiva.com) at Chalfont Grove & Bedford at London. IoStar's platforms use the Teleport facilities of the above to uplink to the NSS-6, NSS 703 Satellites of Newskies (www.ses-newskies.com), SESAT2 of Eutelsat (www.eutelsat.com), Telstar 18 Satellite of Loral (www.loral.com), ABS1 of Asia Broadcast Satellites (www.absatellite.net) and ST1 of Singapore Telecom (www.singtel.com).

The platform uses a 13m & 9m Ku Band Antenna at Hong Kong and two 7.6m Antennas at London for uplinking. The Antennas and the RF power are designed such that receive and transmit of data can happen even under turbulent weather conditions.

As the Internet backbone is locally accessible at the Teleports, the Uplink/Downlink Internet ports are directly connected to a Tier 1 Internet Provider. This avoids all possibility of latency and last mile issues providing the end user a very high level of Internet stability.
